Description: |
This important mountain is the only 4000 meter peak entirely within Italian territory. The most aesthetic and accessible aspect of the mountain lies is close to Aosta town, within the nearby lateral Valley of Valsavarenche. All routes to the summit are easily accessible and give the opportunity to not only enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Mt. Blanc, the Matterhorn and Mt. Rosa but to observe wildlife as the Grand Paridiso is located within a National Park. The numerous trails and mountain huts within the park enable visitors to experience a different side of the mountains and make the itinerary equally enjoyable for all levels of experience. |
